The 1st method of getting Tutor Information is to visit your nearest regional office of Allama Iqbal Open University. AIOU has its regional offices in almost all major cities of Pakistan. You can also search the  list of AIOU regional offices  on Google Maps.

Once you visit the AIOU regional office, ask your focal person about the tutor details for each subject. Your focal person may take some necessary information from you like, roll number or challan number. So make sure you know your roll number and challan number before you visit the regional office of AIOU.

I recommend you to first try the  3rd method of getting tutor information  because that one is easier and you don’t need to leave your home and visit any office.

The second method of getting AIOU Tutor details is through Tutor Letter. At the beginning of every semester, Allama Iqbal Open University delivers an official letter to each student. This letter is usually delivered just after the delivery of course books.

This letter is called Tutor Letter and it contains all the necessary information for subjects tutors. This letter also includes the contact numbers of each subject tutor.

The Tutor letter is delivered through the Pak Post Mail Service. Sometimes, it happens that some students don’t receive the tutor letter due to some personal reasons or mismanagement of the courier service. In this situation, students should contact the AIOU and inform them about the concern.

How to find AIOU tutor by Roll Number?

Previously, before 2022. AIOU allowed students to visit the search for tutor page through which students can enter their roll number and get all information about their subject tutors. But in 2022 and later, this page doesn’t exist anymore. Now, students have to log in to get Tutor details.

Get AIOU tutor information online through Login ID

Now students can find the tutor details on the new student’s enrollment portal of AIOU. You have to log in to the portal using your ID and Password that the university provided you through the email and message.

Once you log in enrollment portal and follow these step-by-step instructions so you better understand the procedure.

• Open  AIOU enrollment portal .

• Enter your username and password. (Provided by AIOU through SMS and email)
• After successful login, you will see the following page.

• Click the  ‘Academic Records’  section.
• Now click  ‘My Tutors’  button on the left sidebar.

• Here you will see subject-wise AIOU Tutors Information. The following information will be included.

AIOU Tutor list

The list on the enrollment portal will show the following information about AIOU tutors. 

Aiou tutor name

The table will show the name of tutors for each subject

Subject name and code

The table will show the subject names of your program along with their course code.

Tutor contact number

This page of AIOU enrollment portal will show the contact number of each tutor so students can contact their teacher for assistance in their studies.

This page also shows the current address of tutors for each subject. This address is given so students can post or deliver their assignments to the respective tutors.

Microsoft Sign In

When you click on the Login option in any of the 4 boxes, the Microsoft Sign-In option will be opened. You need an account to access your dashboard. Sign-in credentials are provided by the university through Text Message. So, when you enter your credentials and click on the log-in button, automatically your account will be opened. Click on the required option i.e. Course Overview and My Courses. 

If you find any error in the user ID and password, then don’t worry. Write your Registration number i.e. 12ABC1234, and add @aiou.edu.pk at the end of your registration number. While in case you don’t know your password then check your Text Messages on your registered number. Mostly, a password is in the form of letters and digits i.e. Abcd1234. 

AIOU LMS Account

Student account is very beneficial because all the educational activities are held on that particular account. For attending the workshop and submitting the assignment, an LMS Account is compulsory. As we mentioned earlier, you don’t need to create your account. You just need to open your account with the provided credentials given by the university. 

According to the open university, the AIOU account works as a dashboard for the individuals where they may examine their primary details including the timetable of workshops, submission dates of assignments, and all the related data. The account works smoothly on a mobile and a laptop. But to take the workshop directly from LMS, the laptop is more suitable. 

AIOU LMS Result

Once the final result was checked through roll number, then it was also checked through LMS, but now the result is only checked on Enrollment. Assignment Marks Form (Parat) Download (Allama Iqbal Open University – AIOU)

This is Assignment Marks form called “Parat”. It is required to attached 3 copies with your each assignment when sending to your tutor. You can Download this form and print out to use. You may use its photocopies.

You send 3 copies of this form with each assignment after filling all required fields. Tutor will send you one copy with your assignment after checking and marking your assignment. Second copy is for tutor and third one for university record. You must fill all 3 forms before sending your assignment to your tutor.
